Poetry Collection

 Hello there SmartSouls. In one of my previous blog posts, I said that I have some amazing news to share with you and here it is, I have finally launched a poetry book. In today's blog post, I will share a few things about the book and a coupon code to get 30% off.

I wrote my first poem when I was in 7th grade. It was for my father. I wanted to get it print in a newspaper as a birthday present for my father. Unfortunately, it didn't get published in a newspaper. But yeah, it did get published in a school magazine. Then in my intermediate, I was re-introduced to the poetry world and continued to write more poems. 

I have been writing poems since 2021, and a few of the poems got published in my college's monthly magazines. Later, at the end of 2022, I decided to publish a poetry collection, which is, honestly, not a good idea. But I still wanted to publish so I went ahead, selected a few poems, and a theme, and self-published it, hence the birth of "Crouched in the corner".

The collection contains 52 poems. The poems talk about various things that I cried about crouched in the corner of my room. I still can't believe it's finally happening. Thanks to the support of my friends and family I broke free from the imposter that was holding me back. Many times I thought that I'm rushing, I need more experience, my poems aren't that good, and more. But my friends gave me an emotional boost. 

Thank you to my readers also who gave me feedback and helped me improve my writing. I know I still have a lot of room left for improvement and I intend to keep on improving.
