Hello there! smartypants. How have you been? I'm doing great. In today's blog post, I will share 5 tips to help you, to motivate others to achieve their dreams, or you can use the same tips to motivate yourself. The topic was suggested by my dear acquaintance Zohra Fathima. Thank you for your suggestion.
I haven't posted for a while now, as I was busy juggling the different balls of my life. I'm back on track now, and soon there is going to be awesome news for you guys. So, stay tuned.
Before we dive straight into the tips, let's discuss why is it important to motivate others when we have our own errands to run.
There are numerous reasons to motivate others to achieve their dreams. Helping others can reward you and give you a sense of purpose and satisfaction. When you help others, you improve your self-esteem and the quality of your life. When we humans help each other to achieve our dreams and support each other, we all can grow together as a society.
You don't need to take a bunch of online classes or skim through a pile of self-help books to help your friend or family member, or yourself, to motivate them to achieve their goals.
Here are 5 tips to help you to motivate others:
1. A bite at a time. Support them by encouraging them to take small steps towards their dreams instead of trying to eat the whole elephant.
2. Encourage them by providing resources, like books, blog posts, etc that can help them sharpen their skills.
3. Encourage them to step out of their comfort zones and try new things by taking risks, to experience something new. Which can be helpful to change their perspective and gain a wider understanding.
4. Help them by encouraging them to take necessary breaks to avoid burnouts.
5. Don't over push them. if they don't want to do it anymore, and know why they don't want to, then don't push them any further.
We keep evolving and learning new things. Sometimes we change our dreams, and it's good to do as well. That's how we grow. But if they want to give up because of a certion event, or situation, encourage them to pursue it for a little longer. Once they know why they don't want to do it anymore, then it's better to stop pressuring them to pursue it, and rather help them shift their goals to other ones, depending upon their values in life.
That will be all for today see you all soon(hopefully), until then keep pursuing. Share your valuable insights in the comment section below. :)
