Opinionated: Online learning and offline, which ones the best?

Hey there smartypants! how have you been?

In today's blog post I will be sharing my opinion about which one is the best way to learn, online or offline. Topic suggested by Laxmi Prassanna, a very good friend of mine. She's been supporting me ever since I started my blogs, her feedbacks have helped me get better. So thank you Prassanna, I really appreciate it.

Getting started,

I can't say exactly that online is best or offline, reason being both has their own pros and cons. Which is also the reason why this question was arised. But in my opinion it depends upon the person's desire to acquire knowledge and the means available to him.

If I have a choice to study something offline, I will definitely choose that over online. But there are many things that I learn online, just because they aren't availble offline and I want to learn it.

For instance during lockdown, I learnt so many things online, I learnt creative writing, sales and marketing, finance and stock market, etc. Thanks to online platforms that I was successful in securing two internships, and was also successful in publishing a poem of mine in an  anthology compiled by Jinal Lodha titled, "Rise: When you love within". [Btw, thank you Jinal di for giving me such opportunity.]

To break it down, if you are just concerned with knowledge then you shouldn't worry about online or offline, you need worry about the value the platform is providing. There are some online courses that just aren't worthy and the same goes for offline classes as well.

Sometimes when I'm not sure whether I will like the course or the offline classes are expensive, I take a free seminar online about the same course to get to know more about it before investing in the offline classes

Offline classes are best if you are learning a skill like weaving, looming, stitching, etc. because you are under supervision of an expert. Which is necessary to get better and learn quickly.

To conclude, in my opinion and from personal experience, use both the platforms the best way possible. The motive of both the platforms is the same which is to teach people who want to learn.

Just make sure to have fun and learn what you want to learn. Gratefully, today we have much better access to knowledge then ever before make the best of it.
