What motivation actually is?

"You glow different when you're doing better."-unknown
Hello, natural beauties. Today we will talk about[I mean you read] 'MOTIVATION'. Not how to stay or get motivated. We will learn motivation. Simple enough. So let's begin.

I found this when I was learning psychology so thought it's worth sharing. And here it is.

People who believe that we are now knowledgeable and more logical and make decisions logically are simply keeping themselves in another nation, known as imagination. 'Cause, that isn't the truth.

We human beings are emotional creatures, driven by emotions, mostly. Not logic. For instance, every morning when your alarm has already been snoozed for over 10 times, you logically know that you need to wake up now. But as driven by emotions, we hit snooze again. That's reality.

We, earthlings, follow reward mechanisms led by emotions to attain that reward.

Simply put, motivation is a state of mind where are high-spirited to get things done.

The theory that helps us understand what makes people motivated is known as motivational theory.

Like why we do what we do. But the conclusion is the same, we do something to receive something, it could be certain stuff, money or to feel a certain emotion, or to not feel a certain emotion.

List of motivational theories:
1. Maslow's Hierarchy of needs.
2.Vroom's expectancy theory.
3. Hertzberg's two-factor theory.
4. McClelland's theory of needs.
5. McGregor's theory X and theory Y.

And more. These are the most commonly known theories. Mostly these theories are used by organizations to motivate their employees and get more things done.

There many motivational theories because every individual has their own motivational style.
By understanding our motivational style we can carry out our works more positively.

That would be all for today. I will be sharing all the motivational theories I know or I will know. Keeping sharing, keeping laugh. Make sure to leave feedback, 'cause I can improve. *winks*
