Abstract:
Have u ever wished for a time machine that can
take you back in past?? The main question is where
would you go. Let me guess: CHILDHOOD. When we
were just about 7 to 8 years old. This was the time where
every little moment was happy for us. Be it a little
candy, a favorite toy, a TV show or even just a little tickle
would have given us a giggle. CHILDHOOD is a heap of memories and the most important parts of this heap were cartoons and TV shows. So let's
talk about some cartoons & childhood memories
attached to them.

So let’s begin:
1) Arpitha Baggu: Slam dunk
anime which you can watch countless
times, I'm very much sure that this would
be in the top 5. It was one of my favorite shows,
it is and will continue to be. So this story is
about basketball and how a person who is
not at all into sports get into this game
and comes to love this sport. This anime is
complete fun and each episode is exciting
to watch and we do not feel bored.
I really got to know about this anime
only because of my brother. I still
remember that my brother used to get only
one hour permission to watch television
and I used to watch it sitting beside him.
What I really loved and learned from it is that
though hanamichi(main lead) has
absolutely no interest in basketball, he
continue to learn and focus on it and love
the sport in the end. In the same way most
of us might not be in the fields which we
want to pursue or we are in a field which
we once loved and now getting difficult to
focus on it can at least take some time to
think and put the effort into whatever work they
are doing and they'll come to love it for
sure.
2) Arshiya Sultana: Pokémon
A show with the cutest animals,
furious action scenes, amazing
characters, mind-blowing episodes, but,
but, but, now when I look back at it, it’s so
surprising to see that there are numerous
things we can learn from POKEMON to give
you an idea, the power of support, the
importance of friendship, the love
towards Pokémon(animals), the courage
of never giving up, the confidence to face
all the hurdles in the way and so many
other important things that we need in life.
A show that thought me so many things
and still, it teaches me more and more
every day.
This is not just an anime to me, it’s a teacher
who teaches me without giving
homework or punishments. I can never
forget this show and I’m grateful to the
show directors and the whole team for
creating such a stunning show.
3) Arwaa Qutubddin: Sharaarat
Shring Bring Sarvaling ,Bhoot
Bhavishya Vartamaan Badling!... Noo
don’t worry you won’t be converted into
a brinjal for sure but the annoying Shanti
Aunty did, so as the fashionable Pam. Oh
you don’t remember the Characters,
worry not, I’m here to take you back to the
golden days !!
The generation of children
who eagerly waited for the Grannies to
narrate Fairy tales, Shararat – Thoda
Jaadu, Thodi Nazaakat was a dream
come true.
The rollercoaster ride through the
Magical Trio to Normal Human beings,
from the peeping neighbors to College
crushes, from a strict, disciplined god
fairy to the flamboyant Best friends,
Shararat has given every little moment of
happiness, making us hooked to the
screen for straight half an hour, making
us breathe in the magic, sway in the
chants and cackle on quirky comedy.
4) Arya Antherjanam V: Heidi
With a lot of time in hand, all of us
made that trip down the memory lane this
lockdown. We recounted our blessings,
recollected our smiles, and revisited our
favourite shows. So, when my family sat
down to watch something together, we
immediately settled on Heidi. Rightly
known as the Girl of the Alps, the girl in a
cute red frock and a scarf covering most of
her chin took us to two decades ago, where
my droopy eyes would sit through 10
o’clock every night. I would glide down the
clouds with her, stack the hay with her,
chase the lamb with her. I became a part of
the tune she would hum while she helps
her Grandpa.
Heidi with her goofiness and love for
the world, helped me believe in kindness
and compassion. She taught me neither
age nor distance matters in friendship.
She showed me love can do wonders.
Hope is what she looked like. Happy was
her middle name. She held me a piece of
cloud to reach my rainbow when the time
comes. Her reflected smile on my face
would make a happy moment for my
parents. They would still smile at the
mention of Heidi. And that makes a 5-year
old’s efforts to fight sleep worth it.
5) Bilal Anis Pawaskar: Naruto
You know Naruto, yes that Naruto
who was always left with nothing. After
his birth, the nine tails attacked the
village in which naruto's father and
mother both were killed by the nine tails,
but his parents were successful in
sealing nine tails inside Naruto's body.
But as he grew everyone in the village did
not interact with him. He has no friends to
play with and many much more. After he
joined the school he was raised by his
teachers who thought him everything.
Naruto was a silly boy. He did pranks with
everyone. But when alone he used to cry,
he used to be in pain.
But during his school, he made friends
from which Sakura and Sasuke were the
closest ones. Sasuke was the strongest
and he defeated Naruto many times. In
anger, Naruto made a promise to Sasuke
that no matter what he'll get stronger than
Sasuke.
So naruto started working his ass off.
Day and night and he really got stronger
than everyone and slowly he started to
take control over nine tails. And he
proved to the village that he made nine tails
his power. After his favorite teacher, the
one who made Naruto strong was killed
by pain(name of a villain). Naruto learned
A new technique and defeated pain alone.
And saved the village. Days passed and
Naruto always helped his village to be
away from danger. Then villagers made
Naruto their Hokage (leader of the village).
6) Girish Thawani: Power Rangers
save the world from Aliens all around the
universe. Every ranger had a special
power. They use to have a Morpher which
converted them into Power Ranger. Just
say the catchy phrase like "Dino Thunder
Power Up" or "Ninja Storm, Ranger
Form". The first power ranger series I
saw was Power Rangers Ninja Storm.
Soon I realized that there were many
more series that was telecasted before.
It just took me one episode to fall in love
with the Power Rangers.
It uses to be a schedule, comes back
home at 1 pm after school, takes lunch,
has a nap & waits for the clock to tick 5
pm. I use to keep an alarm in the Nokia
keypad mobile which was really on
demand & highly new in India. I even had
a Morpher toy which I lost in a school
drama event but still I have a glimpse of it
in my mind. One more thing, whenever I
used to go out, I always considered my
chappal as my Morpher & used to say all
those catchy phrases to turn myself into
a hypothetical ranger. After Ninja Storm, I
continued to watch other series of Power
Rangers which were Dino Thunder, SPD,
Mystic Force, Operation Overdrive,
Jungle Fury. Also, I watched the previous
series which were Lost Galaxy, Wild
Force, Light Speed Rescue, Time Force. I
still get nostalgia when I remember it.
Even today, some series are repeated on
Sonic channel but from 1 am to 6 am.
Every Saturday I remain awake till 4 am to
watch them.
Alas!! Those childhood days are
never going to return. We have grown up
but still theses childhood memories but
still, they were the most fantastic time of
our life.
