“No one is perfect, that’s why pencils have erasers.”
Raise your hand if you are a first bencher or a book worm. Then, this blog is just for you, because WE last benchers don’t care🤷♀️ whether we got 40 out of 100 or 90 out of 100. That’s how we are😂.
But there are at least 80-90% of book worms who get depressed or sad after every exam because they scored less than what they assumed☹️. It is natural for them to be depressed due to low marks. However, understand that low marks do not translate to low knowledge🤔. This fact you shall understand and experience in your future.
I’m sure you must have put in all the effort based on the importance the exam holds in your VIEWPOINT😉. Let’ say you want to score 10/10 on boards, you will for sure put in all the efforts to score 10/10. The point is you don’t need to feel sad as you yourself are aware and confessing that the marks are low, which means you have set a target for yourself for getting certain marks and for which the appropriate efforts you would have made. And you are confident that you should have got more. 😁
There are some times where you do come across a bad phase or a rough path which is just temporary which you have no control over, 🤷♀️that’s how life gets exciting. As the trend of olden times😂 says GO WITH THE FLOW🌊, there’s always another day to shine🌟. On a rainy⛈️ and cloudy day🌫️, does the sun shines? No, but it will for sure shine when the clouds are clear🌞. There’s always another day for it to shine again🌟.
If you are like me😅 and didn’t put in the effort which is required, that’s alright. You could learn from this phase which will lead to a pathway for you to modify your priority and effort management for your future exams😇. Even the best have a bad day. So, Chin up and bring yourself together for your next exam👍.
Do you know? Of course, I know you don’t know😂. My father never ever scold me or pressurized me to score 10/10 or something like that, not because he knew I can but because he believes that marks ain’t gonna decide who you are and what you are able to do. He always says “don’t care about marks, care about the knowledge, cause that’s more important.” (point to be noted📝, my lord😂)
Now that you know you got less than you expected, try to do the following. Not to feel better, but to not feel sad again:
1. Analyze the reason for your bad grades, which can be a result of less preparation, a difficult paper, lack of clarity in the subject, and more.
2. Rewrite your paper to see how much you wrote and what result you got.
3. Consult with your teacher and tuition guide about it.
4. Plan better for upcoming exams.
5. Socialize and build a company of like-minded people around you who are better in their studies and can help you grow. (never hesitate to seek help).
6. Take proper diet, sleep, and take care of yourself.👍
And please🙏 try to stay active, do not indulge in more depressing activities like talking to negative people, eating too much, staying alone, listening to sad songs, and more. There will be people who will highlight what will be the outcome of your low marks. Stay away from them or just ignore them completely.
Acceptance is the best medicine for any issue. Firstly, accept that you have scored fewer marks in your academics. When we accept things, we try to explore the various possibilities to deal with the issues. So just let it go [frozen🥴].
Crying over spilled milk never helps🤷♀️, but working on improving your mistakes will help feel a lot better😇. Don’t think about what your friends will say, and instead of promising your family that you’ll do better next time promise this to yourself😉.
Last but not the least, every situation is temporary, things will change, don’t cry. God always takes you to low, triggers you to reach the high. There always be a low before you reach the highest. So work hard to achieve the high. Keep your mind calm and strong to accept low and to reach the highest.
That’s all for today😇. See you all soon with some new post😉. Until then keep enjoying🥳. Build your own happiness😁. All the best👍.
If you liked it share it with your bookworm friends 😁😉.
