Get out of your comfort zone.🙃

“LAZINESS MAY APPEAR ATTRACTIVE BUT WORK GIVES SATISFACTION.”

Do you think that you are lazy and are willing to change your life? Then you are in the right place👍. This blog contains a lot of info, don’t be too lazy to consume it😁.
Laziness can seem to be incurable, but it isn’t the truth. It can be cured that too for your whole life. But you have to implement the following in your life. Just knowing how to cook, won’t give you food. Right🙄?

Replacing old habits with new ones will consume some time and also patience. And the fact that human beings just love 😍COMFORT😍. Challenging yourself to get out of your comfort zone is a hard task.
We are very motivated to do something in the beginning but eventually, the enthusiasm fades away. We want more results with less effort, making it even more difficult😒. You need to plan and review your progress instead of expecting some magic to happen and doing nothing.

So let’s talk about why this happens? It is impossible to find a definite cause. But often laziness is caused either when you have a lot of things to do or nothing to do (experienced in lockdown😅). So if you have so much to do, then follow the steps described below:

👉1) Make a to-do list.
It’s much harder to fall into laziness tactics and habits when you know exactly what you need to accomplish each day which is where the daily to-do list comes into play. It only takes about 5 minutes each morning to write down what you need to do each day. I recommend writing things in a book instead of using a notepad on your phone. Writing things down will also set things in your mind and increase productivity👍.

👉2) Replace bad habits.
Laziness is often a reflection of other bad habits that are hurting you. And that is why you need to replace your bad habits with good ones.
I know it’s a hard task, but replacing bad habits with good ones is better than just forgetting the bad habits, like replacing the habit of smoking🚬 with eating chewing gum or something like that.

Note down 📝every habit or behavior you have that you don’t want to continue. Then, once you know what you have to work on, you can start making plans for how to improve them or replace them and therefore better yourself and be less lazy and more productive. (If you want help don't worry I'm here to help).

👉 3) Take necessary breaks throughout the day.
Don’t think that taking breaks means that you are being lazy. Taking planned breaks throughout the day actually increases your productivity ad helps you get more things done and beat laziness. This is necessary because by taking breaks you're allowing your brain to reset or just relax and return to work more refreshed and getting stuff done and fight against the obstacles.

Know or observe your body and mood, and according to that analyze how, when, and for how long these breaks should be, I take a break after every hour for 5 minutes, this can help my eyes rest. And breaks doesn’t only mean you should sleep. You can do anything that can refresh your mood or something like that. For me, it probably is drawing or cooking or looming or playing with my pets…etc.

👉4) Minimise distractions.
Distraction doesn’t cause laziness but it can make it harder to get back to being productive. Distractions will definitely cause procrastination, so you have to start taking steps that can minimize distractions. And note that I’m not saying ELIMINATE distraction, I’m saying MINIMIZE distraction.

Developing a habit takes at least 21 days. It will take 90 days to form a permanent habit. So take small steps at the beginning and learn on the way…

The next step is to find a way how you can regularly remind yourself of what motivates you. Does your family motivate you? Do hitting goals motivates you? Whatever might the thing be? set a wallpaper related to that, or stick a poster of that in your room or just do something by which you can remind yourself about that regularly.

Now, the final step is when you feel lazy or unmotivated, take a few minutes and think to yourself about why you need to get things done and accomplish your tasks. This will help you get going and beat your laziness with ease.

Last but not least:

💪Set a deadline to achieve one specific goal in a limited time.
This will be like a challenge to yourself to complete the task in a limited time. And avoid distractions.

💪Read a book for more ideas.
Books contain great knowledge, and if you are like me😂😅, who doesn’t love reading that much then check out this blog of mine which can help you learn and have fun. treasure of knowledge

💪Reward yourself.
Reward yourself with things like 10 minutes on social media or a drawing or 5 minutes with pets or whatever motivates you to work.

💪Break large projects into small.
You won’t eat a whole elephant🐘 at a time. Right? Or are you a monster👹🧟‍♀️? Jokes apart😁, we definitely eat like a bite at a time. So break down your one big task into, might be,10 microtasks.

💪Take advantage of your peak productivity period.
As you may have experienced, you are not equally productive the whole day. According to Redbooth, the normal person is most productive at around 11am. After that, the productivity decreases, and at 4 o'clock, very little gets done. Identify the time in your day when you are most effective, the time when you get the most things done.
This time is defined as your “peak productivity period”👍. Schedule all the work you typically tend to procrastinate for your peak period. Also, identify your low-productivity periods. Understand that you will not be as creative and hard-working in these time periods. Therefore you need to prepare a list of tasks to do, that do not require a lot of energy or creativity to accomplish.

💪Implement the 2 Minute Rule.
If a task takes less than two minutes, don’t add it to your to-do list. Complete it immediately. If a task takes more than two minutes, plan for a later time to complete the task.
🥳🥳First of all congratulations,🥳🥳 you have read all the information😂.

🥳In conclusion, Don’t expect yourself to be perfect, use positive instead of negative self-talk, use your strengths, don’t hesitate to ask for help, give yourself pep talks, learn to reward yourself for the very small things you complete or try.
😊And if you don’t have anything to do, then just learn something new like a new language or take any course or workshop, do an internship or learn cooking, because certificates can be useless but knowledge can never be used-less😂.
🥱Offf, a lot already, there are so many other things which I wanted to include but it will be like a never-ending post, so I will end today’s post here. If you need more information then comment down below what information you want?😜.
Until then, keep sparkling✨. And know that being lazy is okay if it is within a limit.😜🤗
