Hey there, smartsouls! How have you been? I'm great as always. In today's post, I will wrap up the movies, books, shows, songs, and podcasts that I enjoyed in the month of February.
Movies:
Tims Vermeer
It is a documentary about the art of Vermeer. Tim is an inventor who conducts experiments to discover how Vermeer managed to do such realistic paintings in the 17th century.
Everything everywhere all at once
It is a comedy-drama movie about a middle-aged Chinese immigrant, who is swept up in an insane adventure. She is able to alternate universes. It is quite hard to explain, but it is excellent.
Books:
Wicked Women of the Raj by Coralie Younger
It is about European women who married Indian Princes. It is interesting if you are interested in the palace drama. I, honestly, did not enjoy reading it. I just enjoyed the time about which this book talks about, the aesthetics of history, you can say.
Better Small Talk by Patrick King
It gives us tips and advice related to small talk such as how to start one, how to continue it, how to make the most out of it, how to not make it awkward, etc. It is not very useful. It has a handful of good advice that I would love to implement in my life.
Shows:
Rebord Rich (K-drama)
It is a fantasy drama where the employee gets murdered and is reborn as the youngest son of the company. Now he is trying to find out who murdered him and take his revenge. I still have 2 episodes to watch but so far it was mind-blowing.
Songs:
Yariyaan (Ost Ehd E Wafa): I love everything about this song. The lyrics, the music, everything. It is an Urdu song about friends.
Shinunoga E-Wa by Fujii Kaze: It is a Japanese song. It is just LIT!
Willow by Taylor Swift: I heard this song recently and as always Taylor had me!
Podcast:
Far From facts: It is a weekly podcast, and very hilarious. People really assume I have lost my mind when I laugh while listening to this.
That will be all for today. Do let me know what you tried in the month of February. I'm all ears for new recommendations. Hope to see you again, hopefully, before the March wrap-up.
